We ask our members to do three things each week:

Come to worship service to fall more in love with God and His word.

About Us
WHO WE ARE
“THE GATHERING INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES” was launched on November 8, 2009 under the leadership of the Rev. Clover Hawthorne and her husband Elder Lambert Hawthorne. The Gathering has a mandate to continue the mission of reaching those people of the Bronx and beyond who are not members of a church or not attending any church. The Gathering is a Church of God Congregation with headquarters in Cleveland TN.
We are committed to building strong and effective outreach programs not only for members of The Gathering, but also to our community and beyond. We are committed to evangelism. Our number one goal is, and will always be, the salvation of the lost. We are committed to prayer and intercession. We believe that miracles are for today. By His mighty power, we will experience miracles, signs, and wonders to the glory of His majestic name.
The mission of our church is to know Christ and make him known by loving God, loving others and serving the world. To encourage small groups designed to hear from God through reading the Bible, obeying what He says, and sharing it with their social networks.
Glorify God through a lifestyle of personal obedience and communion with Him; and, in the Spirit and Power of Pentecost, to worship Him in seasons of praise, brokenness, power and blessing.
Build relationships that strengthen each of us, recognizing that we are the body of Christ “fitly joined together.”
Recognize the need for sharing the message of the Gospel and to understand our personal responsibility in meeting that need.
1. To design the Gathering International Ministries around a straightforward and strategic process that moves people through the stages of spiritual growth. It is a process of loving God, loving others and serving the world.
2. We, as a community of Spirit-filled believers, commit to exalt God, to evangelize the lost, and to edify and equip the church for ministry.

Our Leadership
Clover L. Hawthorne – Senior Pastor
Rev. Clover L. Hawthorne is the founding and senior pastor at The Gathering International Ministries Church of God. She is passionate about helping people become whole in Christ and to fulfill their God-given calling in life.
Pastor Clover is passionately committed to teaching and living the truths of God’s Word in the power of the Spirit. She is a bold, anointed teacher of the Word who touch hearts with her sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Clover is an ordained minister in the Church of God and has a Masters of Arts degree in Church Ministries – major Discipleship & Ministry Leadership.
Pastor Clover is married to the love of her life and ministry partner, Lambert Hawthorne. Together they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Deborah McFarlane – Associate Pastor
Deborah also serves as Youth and Children Ministry Pastor- She cares deeply about people of all different background and ages.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God.
WE BELIEVE:
In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
